Návay Lajos Technical School and College in Makó – Festival Center:
Návay Lajos Technical School and College hostel of Makó is one of the most up-to-date hostels in Hungary. The festival centre can be found in the centre of Makó town, it is a 4-floor building, it has 87 rooms, it is available for altogether 225 persons. There is an elevator in the building, so it is easy to go to the upper floors as well, there is a restaurant downstairs, the breakfasts will be here. The rooms are 2-3-4-bedrooms. Every room has an own shower, toilet and a small fridge. Návay Lajos Technical School and College in Makó hostel functions as a 3-star tourist accommodation in MAKÓ. The local government of MAKÓ town won 1,43 billion HUF (5 million Euro) from the government then; and it has been reopened and rebuilt from this amount. The ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new institute was organized in September 2005, and its eponym is the world famous József Pulitzer, who was born in this town and was a great journalist.
